Our Founder and Director
verena ringler
Verena Ringler is a European strategy expert who delivers on the triangle of innovation, content, and outreach. For three years, she worked as Deputy Head of Press and Public Affairs for a European Council-led diplomatic team in Pristina, Kosovo. For four years, she was Associate Editor with Foreign Policy in Washington D.C., and for five years she was Director for International Affairs and Project Manager for Europe with Germany’s Stiftung Mercator.
Verena has degrees from the Johns Hopkins University’s School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna and Washington, from Innsbruck University (Political Science major with Erasmus in Uppsala, Sweden) and from Vienna university (magazine journalism year, with profil magazine). Verena authored and delivered approx. 500 multimedia publications and speeches. She serves on the board of the Austrian Society for European Politics and of Europe’s People’s Forum, the advisory board of NECE, and the Strategy Councils of the European Policy Centre, the European Forum Alpbach, and the Fondation Jean Monnet pour l’Europe in Lausanne.
